Woman Quits Her Job So She Can Breastfeed Her Adult Boyfriend
Common interests are vital when it comes to sustaining a healthy relationship. For Jennifer Mulford and Brad Leeson, that mutual love is breast milk. The Atlanta couple is in an adult breastfeeding relationship – and Mulford had to quit her job to dedicate herself to producing milk.
Adult breastfeeding relationships – referred to as ABR – are apparently common enough that there are websites dedicated to the idea, which is sparked Mulford’s interest. “When I read about the pure joy it brought others, I was desperate to seek out a partner to share an emotional bond with,” she says. “I used dating sites, put messages on ABR forums and even put an advert on Craigslist, but I drew a blank. I started to think I’d never get to try adult breastfeeding.”
She then started chatting with Leeson, a high school boyfriend, and got up the courage to bring up ABR. He was on board. “We both wanted the same thing out of the relationship,” Mulford explains. “A magical bond that only breastfeeding can achieve.”
It’s been over 20 years since the lovebird last breastfed, so the couple has to dry-feed and pump her breasts every two hours, as if she had a newborn. The process is so time consuming, Mulford has quit her job to focus on lactating full time. Hey, to each his own, right?
