Woman Faces Murder Charges Over Car Accident That Killed Her Twin
The Duval sisters’ strange life has ended in tragedy. Alexandria Duval was driving an SUV in Maui when the car went off a cliff and plunged 200-feet, killing her twin sister Anastasia, who was a passenger. Now, Alexandria has plead not guilty to the charge of murder she’s facing.
According to witnesses, Alexandria and Anastasia were fighting before the accident. Anastasia allegedly pulled Alexandria’s hair and then the car accelerated, made a sharp turn into the wall and showed no signs of braking.
It turns out the sisters have a strange, and criminal, history. The Duvals opened two Twin Power Yoga studios in Florida under the names Alison and Ann Dadow, then abruptly closed down shop in 2014. The twins popped up in Utah, filing for bankruptcy and claiming hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt. Both Alexandria and Anastasia have criminal records including arrests relating to public intoxication and making terroristic threats.
Alexandria is due back in court today.
