Over the weekend during batting practice, White got a nice little surprise in the middle of the Minute Maid Park outfield. Apparently, his teammates drove his Land Rover out of the parking garage and smack into the middle of the field.

Pitcher Dallas Keuchel has since come out saying “rookies get the brunt of a lot of jokes; it’s just all fun and games.”

White didn’t look like he really got the joke though. Making things worse was when Carlos Gomez bounced a long fly ball off the roof of his car. Keuchel said he would take care of any damages. Keuchel added, “Whitey’s one of the guys we like.” Wonder what happens to the guys they don’t like so much.
