What’s New And Coming To The Small Screen
It seems like a lot of shows from the major networks got cancelled- so what’s left? There are still some series in limbo, but here’s a list of some of the new shows being added to the lineup along with those that managed to get renewed for another season already:
NEW:
- “Conviction” (ABC): “Agent Carter” might have been cancelled, but star Hayley Atwell is keeping busy. She’ll star in “Conviction” as Hayes Morrison, a lawyer and former First Daughter who is going to accept a job offer from her nemesis in order to avoid jail time for cocaine possession and avoid hurting her mother’s Senate campaign.
- “Still Star-Crossed” (ABC): Yet another Shonda Rhimes production, “Still Star-Crossed” is her first period drama. The story is based on the book by the same title that follows what happened to the Montagues and Capulets after Romeo and Juliet’s deaths.
- “This Is Us” (NBC): Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K. Brown star in this dramedy that centers on a group of people “whose paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways.”
