Man and Dog Reunited After Three Years and 720 Miles
For the last three years, Ricardo Dominguez has been thinking of his lost dog, Brownie. While on his horse ranch back in 2013, the dog somehow ran off, despite someone watching her.
So imagine Dominguez’s response when a California Animal Services department called saying a microchip proved they had his dog. “[My girlfriend] said, ‘They found Brownie,'” he remembers. “I say, ‘What? Where is he? San Diego? Do I want to keep him? Hell, yeah.”
Dominguez drove 720 miles nonstop from El Paso, Texas to be reunited with the seven-year-old Brownie in Bonita, California. It was worth the trip. Dominguez says when he first saw his pup, she ran over and jumped into his arms.
