Hiker Discovers Dinosaur Footprint
A hiker enjoying the mountains in Olesa de Montserrat, Spain stumbled upon a piece of history. The unidentified man spending the day exploring the area found a massive footprint, which archeologists have confirmed was made by a dinosaur 230-million years ago.
It’s believed the creature that left this print is a relative of the crocodile but is thought to have been able to walk on its hind legs.
This is the best preserved dino fossil discovered in the Iberian Peninsula so far and the government released a statement saying a plaster cast has been taken on the footprint and it’s now being studied by the department of archaeology and paleontology.
