A Pie-Shaped House Reportedly Built Out of Spite is Up for Sale

Rumor has it, the house at 2022 24th Avenue E in Seattle was built to spite an ex. Now it’s up for sale.

The home, which is nicknamed Seattle Spite House was constructed in 1925 and the most popular theory is as part of a divorce settlement, a judge gave a man the house and his ex-wife the 3,090-square-foot front yard. So she built a pie-shaped house that is 15-feet at it’s widest and 55-inches at it’s most cramped.

If you want to own this sassy piece of real estate history, it’ll cost you $519,900.
