Add questionable online purchases to the list of sleeping pill side effects. One man allegedly spent $3,076 on a real live yak after taking some nighttime medication.
That’s right. A friend of a friend posted a picture of the receipt online, which claims the man bought a “Golden Tibetan Yak Cow” from a store simply called Yaks n Things.
Luckily, the man came to his senses in time to cancel the order. The man himself reportedly wrote on Facebook that his apartment complex certainly wouldn’t allow yaks, his beagle Lucy would not like the new friend, and he’s an astrophysicist who “can’t just spend $3,000 on a yak to amuse the Internet.”
