When Spanish mattress maker Durmet got word that Spaniards have the highest infidelity rate in Europe, they decided to do something about it. Enter Smarttress, the first mattress to detect cheating.

Each Smarttress has sensors inside the bed that detect pressure and will send a 3D map of the bed to users showing exactly which areas are receiving greater pressure and what movement is happening, all in real time.

“It is a concept that will bring peace of mind to men and women,” Durmet spokesperson Jose Antonio Muinos explains. “Not just during the night but also during the day while they are out at work and the bed should really be being used.
