Think you are a professional TV binge-watcher? Meet Alejandro “AJ” Fragoso. The 25-year-old New Yorker now holds the world record for the longest TV binge-watching marathon, clocking 94 hours in front of a screen.
In order to pass the time, he watched episodes of “Game of Thrones,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Twilight Zone,” “Bob’s Burgers” and “Adventure Time.”
The stunt was organized by multimedia software company CyberLink who had a medic on hand to take Fragoso’s vitals once he set the record. According to the company, by hour 94 Fragoso had an elevated heart rate and suffered neurological side effects, including an increased involuntary open-eyed “micronaps” and acute hallucinations. Regardless, he beat the previous record of 92 hours, which was set by five Austrians just last month.
