Belmont University student Dalton Ross decided to leave his Nashville, Tennesse home and study abroad in London. As a joke, he gave his mom a life size cardboard cut out of himself, but it was her who got the last laugh.

Susan Talley not only brought the cardboard cut with her, but she photographed it in different places. Her cardboard son came with her to the doctor’s, family dinners, a basketball game, and even the batting cages.

“She uploaded them as she took them to Facebook, for all the world to see,” Ross tells HuffingtonPost, but asking not to make his mom’s page public. “My mom is funny and out-joked me on this one.”
