A House Left Untouched Since the 70s is Up For Sale
Really love the 70s? You’re going to want to head to Palm Springs, California. A house left untouched since 1971 has hit the market.
Described as a “time-capsule” house, the interior is almost entirely red velvet and comes with a sunken living room, a curved wet bar, a den, three bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool cabana, a butler’s pantry and garage for storing a classic car collection.
“Every turn of every corner is another step back into a vintage opulent era that has been preserved like the day it was originally put together,” a description of the house, which won the 2015 Palm Springs Modern Committee’s Residential Preservation Award, says. “This super chic property represents the rich luxury of mid-century and regency pushed to its outer limits.”
If you want to step back in time, and live there, the house is on the market for $100,000.
