The rare Franciscana dolphin was passed around between tourists while they took out their phones and posed for pictures.

These tourists might have not known – or forgotten? – that dolphins live in the water. If they lived on land, humans would probably put leashes on them and take them for walks around the neighborhood. Silly tourists!

Well, the baby dolphin ended up dying from dehydration and overheating from exposure to the sun.

And, once footage from the scene hit the Interwebs, Twitter exploded, with many venting their anger at the actions of those on the beach.
