“Star Wars: Episode VIII” is Officially in Production

It’s official, “Star Wars: Episode VIII” is officially in production. StarWars.com has announced the good news on their website, along with cast updates.

Most of the gang is returning for the next installment, including Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. The newbies this time around are Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran.

“Star Wars: Episode VIII” is set to hit theaters on December 15th, 2017. Check out the video announcement from the official website to the right.
