Majority of Folks Want to Start Their Own Businesses
Have you ever thought of going into business for yourself? Well, the idea of making your own rules and not answering to anyone sounds like a great idea, which may be why a lot of people want to do it.
According to a new worldwide survey, 67% of folks consider entrepreneurship as a good career move, with more than half of workers believing they have the ability to start their own business. What’s more, 42% of working age adults see opportunities around them to start businesses, with only one third saying they’d be worried about failing.
And it seems a lot of people are impressed by entrepreneurs. In fact, 70% of folks consider them to have “high status” in their society, while 21% of adults across 60 economies plan to start their own business in the next three years.
As for who are eyeing entrepreneurship as their next career move, the number is highest amongst folks between the ages of 25 and 35, and 35 and 44 across all economies.
