A family in Australia got quite a scare after a mouse trap caught something….but it wasn’t a rodent. Anthony Parker‘s wife thought she was hearing mice in the house, so she laid down some mouse traps.

Anthony had just gotten home from work when he heard one of the traps go snap. “I turned around, had a quick look and literally jumped off my stool because there was a snake about 10 feet away from me in the mouse-trap,” he said. “It was just trying to escape by trying to bite the trap off I think; I think it may have thought the trap was alive trying to get it.”
