Frederick Walker had a serious case of beginner’s luck. The 19-year-old from Florida bought his first ever lotto ticket during the Powerball fever. He saw a completed, but unplayed ticket and decided to try his luck with those numbers. Well, turns out, he matched five numbers and won $1-million. But thanks to the extra feature he added to his ticket, he ended up winning a total of $2-million.

The teenager put it best when he said, “How lucky that the first time I played, I won.” Yes, how lucky, how incredibly lucky.
