This is both weird and sad. Nan Thippharat and her fiancé, Fiat, were set to get married in their native Thailand when he died suddenly of a heart attack. She decided go through with the wedding anyway, moving the venue to his funeral.

She sat next to her late fiancé, who was wearing a suit, while wearing a wedding dress. She posted pictures and videos of the strange ceremony saying that “their dreams had come true.”

The marriage isn’t legal, of course, but Nan says this was her way of paying tribute to her would-be-husband and it just a jump start on their next life together. You can check out footage of the wedding-slash-funeral, here.
