Just when you thought it couldn’t happen, we hear that it is. Well, sort of. E! Online says that Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer – better known as Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey, and Ross from “Friends” – will take part in a special honoring sitcom director James Burrows.
Burrows has directed a thousand episodes of television and worked on some of the biggest sitcoms in history. His list of credits include “Cheers,” “Will & Grace,” “Mike & Molly,” “Taxi,” “Fraiser,” and “NewsRadio” in addition to “Friends.”
People have wanted to see the “Friends” cast get back together ever since they left the air in 2004. And while they’ll all participate in the special – which will air on February 21st – it’s no guarantee that they’ll all be in the same room at the same time. But since they’ve all been adamant about NOT having a scripted reunion, fans may just have to be satisfied with this.
