Science Rules: Better Tasting Beer Through Sound Waves

Making beer taste better through science. Now that’s something we can all get behind. That is why the Fizzics Waytap is one of the most important inventions of our time. What these guys did is actually pretty brilliant.

What you do is this…take your favorite bottled beer whether it is an obscure craft brew or just a basic Bud. You put the bottle into the Waytap. Then you pull the handle forward and the pressurized beer comes out as if it were coming straight from the tap. Now that might not sound all that spectacular…but wait…there’s more!

When you push the tap backwards, the patented machine uses soundwave technology to mix up the remainder of the brew that adds carbonation. What ends up in your glass takes that standard bottle of beer and makes it taste like it just came from the tap. And that, my friends, is something we all need more of in our lives.
